Not So Tough Now, another find of the venerable Siologen, is a large CMP drain in the Northern reaches of the Humber River. This 3000mm+ concrete bottomed CMP traverses underneath a large industrial area until it transforms into a 3000mm RCP tunnel. The interesting part about this connection is that the RCP almost appears to have been an outfall of sorts at one point. It has been bricked in around the outside but retains some mounting hardware from a previous grate that might have been there before the drain was extended to it's present length. The large RCP transitions into a slighty smaller RCP and has a couple of smaller branches where we called it quits and headed out.
